Q2
Where are exchangeable spindle floor springs typically used?

Under standard installation conditions, the clearance between the bottom of the door and the floor is 8–10mm. This design ensures smooth door operation, allows for proper air circulation, and prevents damage caused by friction between the door and the floor.

However, in cases where specific adjustments are required—such as when marble flooring, thick carpets, or other specialized flooring materials are present—we offer a customized height adjustment solution.

To accommodate varying floor heights, we provide replacement spindles that increase clearance by 5mm increments, up to a maximum of 50mm. This flexible solution ensures that doors can function properly and maintain a visually appealing finish in any environment.

If you require additional clearance, please specify the desired height at the time of order. We will assist you in selecting the most suitable replacement spindle to meet your installation needs effectively.

Q3
How to select closing force of floor spring?

When selecting a floor hinge, door width is the primary consideration, as it directly affects the hinge's load. If the hinge's force rating is insufficient, it can shorten the door's lifespan and compromise stability.

Next, consider the door weight, especially for heavy or special material doors like glass or metal. Ignoring this factor may cause sagging, difficulty in operation, or excessive wear.

To choose the right floor hinge, first match the force rating to the door width, then confirm it against the door weight. Refer to the product catalog for specific ranges of width, weight, and force ratings to ensure long-term, stable performance.

Product Maintenance and Care Recommendations
To ensure smooth and safe operation of door panels, regular maintenance of door hinges and automatic door closers is essential. Proper upkeep can effectively extend their lifespan and reduce the likelihood of malfunctions. Below are the key maintenance recommendations:

1. Regular Lubrication
Apply a small amount of lubricant to the hinge and closer pivots every 6 months.
Wipe off any excess oil to prevent dust accumulation, squeaking, and wear.

2. Cleaning and Inspection
Remove dust and debris regularly.
Inspect and tighten screws to prevent looseness that could compromise stability.

3. Speed Adjustment
Adjust the door closer speed according to the instruction manual.
Ensure the door closes smoothly and at a controlled pace to avoid it being too fast or too slow.

4. Prevent External Damage
Avoid excessive force, pushing, or impact on the door.
This prevents deformation of hinges and damage to the door closer mechanism.

5. Leakage Check
Periodically inspect the door closer for oil leaks.
If any leakage is detected, arrange for immediate repair or replacement.
